MEET THE TRAINERS

Our trainers will push you to new limits that your mind and body didn't know you could reach. They will educate you and provide you with the right tools to ensure you surpass your health and fitness goals. Most importantly, our coaches want you to see positive changes in your life. They aim to build relationships with all clients and focus on getting to know you as a person, learning your aspirations for both your life and your body. It's this genuine relationship with our clients that allows us to push you further and that sets us apart from other fitness facilities in the area.

BEN 

I started my fitness journey back in 2015 as a trainer at other local facilities. I loved seeing positive change in so many people's lives and health and fitness quickly became my passion.

After being a trainer for a few years, it became evident to me that there was a big gap in the market for a facility that offered more than just cardio sessions. I knew I could offer something different and a step above other training facilities in the area. 

I started Body Coaching High Performance in June 2016 with outdoor boot camps run at Greenhills in Cronulla. Here I grew my customer base and quickly started looking for something more permanent. In June 2017, I found the perfect space in Miranda, just off Box Road and this soon became the first Body Coaching facility. The gym grew quite rapidly and before I knew it we had built an amazing, loyal and supportive community. 

I knew we would soon need a bigger space and began searching for a new facility at the start of 2019. Jump a few months forward and finally, the perfect space came up in July. I wanted to create an environment that our members truely deserved. Something the Sutherland Shire had never seen before. We got brainstorming and knew we needed to include amenities such as a boxing room, kids room and cafe. 

In September 2019, the new gym opened! We celebrated our official open day on Saturday the 28th of September and the team is still in shock with the incredible response we received from our members and the community. 

From the bottom of my heart, I would like to say a massive thank you to our members for all of your endless support. None of this would be possible without each and every one of you. I can't wait to see what's in store for Body Coaching over the next few years and I feel so lucky to be able to make a positive impact on peoples lives every single day. 

RENEE 

BRONTE

My fitness journey began years ago when I joined a gym in Queensland where I was living at the time. Just like most people I had very little idea about fitness, how to train correctly and use gym equipment. I felt insecure, unfit and hated going to the gym. 

I eventually moved back home and joined Body Coaching. I made exercise a habit, not a resolution. I made friends with like-minded people and learnt that there is more to fitness then just having the perfect body, it’s about health, self-love and living life to its full potential! 

Health and fitness completely transformed my life and soon became my passion. I began my Cert III and Cert IV in fitness and continued my studies in nutrition. I became a part-time trainer at Body Coaching before quitting my other job and becoming a full-time trainer. 

I feel so lucky to help people improve their fitness and simultaneously improve their mindset. It is amazing to see my clients achieve their visions and goals and change their mindset, just like I have. I feel blessed to be apart of the Body Coaching community and can't wait to continue to help others transform their lives, both physically and mentally. 

 

My name is Bronte and I’m one of the new trainers here at Body Coaching. I have come from a high level, contact sports background, where I grew my passion for strength and conditioning. I have years of experience in the fitness industry and I am now excited to begin my journey as a training. 

From personal experience, I also understand how important a holistic approach to health is and am a HUGE, HUGE advocate for physical and mental wellness. 

Personally, I chose to focus my diet around plant-based options, so if that is something you are thinking about switching to or trying out I’ve got some great resources I can share with you!  

Please come say hi if you need anything, whether it be some extra help with your technique, a periodised program specific to your sport, drills for preseason, meditation tips, nutritional advice or some deliciously healthy recipes! I’m more than happy to share my knowledge and help you get to where you want to be! 

BEN PUTLAND

I joined Body Coaching back in 2017 and run many of the BC Lift classes. I am a Strength and Conditioning coach with a wealth of knowledge in strength training, technique and nutrition.

I started my health and fitness journey at the young age of 16. Growing up, I struggled with feeling too skinny and was often bullied by others about it, which hindered my self-esteem and confidence.

 As a result, I signed up to my local gym to work on myself and prove that I could change my physique. I saw massive changes and this greatly boosted my confidence and outlook on life. As I saw the benefits of exercise first hand, fitness quickly turned into my passion. I feel so lucky that every day I can help others on their health and fitness journey.  

In 2015, at the age of 19, I won the IFBB Championship, in my division. I put years of hard work and dedication into this comp and it paid off! I also now help other athletes prepare for their own stage competitions.

It has been my mission from the day I became a personal trainer to change as many lives as possible, both physically and mentally through health and fitness. I feel so lucky to be able to live out this dream every day and love helping our clients achieve their goals.  

MARK 

 A few years ago I desperately needed a change in lifestyle and I found fitness. Fitness provided me with goals, kept me driven and made me hungry to see change both physically and mentally. I used to abuse my body, was far from healthy and was just not happy with where I was in life. My journey with health and fitness has led me to want to help others achieve their goals and positively change their lives.  

I find fitness and training an escape from everyday life. It is a time where you can be in your own mindset, not let anyone hold you back and let go of any daily stresses. In fitness, you can truely push yourself to your limits and as a result, see so many positive changes.  

I genuinely want everyone to believe in themselves and reach any goal they aim to achieve. Believe in yourself, dream big and GO!!!

ELISSE

Elisse is our amazing Matwork Pilates instructor and self-confessed Pilates addict! Elisee has practised Pilates for over 20 years and after feeling the benefits of Pilates, particularly as the ideal complement to her fitness regime, she qualified with a Cert IV Mat Instructor. 

Elisse will put you through some serious abdominal endurance challenges, improve your balance, open your spine and help you work on your posture. Her classes are an amazing way to compliment your current training, ensuring you recover effectively and correctly.
